Narnia-Costume Designs II

Hmm...well, I admit a lot of dissatisfaction with these two. I posted them mostly for opinions and help.
Okay, the first one was designed as a sort of...Aslan's How battle outfit. I'm probably going to be redoing this one very soon, as I feel I borrowed a bit too much from Susan's outfit. That leather cuirass is freaking awesome, though, and I want it.
So, other than that obvious bit, I'm having trouble with colours on this one. To give some background, this character will have spent most of the storyline here in Telmarine locations and clothes, so the basis is that she looks mostly Telmarine, but with a splash of red to identify her alliance for the battle.
...oh, and how the devil is the easiest way to photoshop chainmail? o.O;;;

The second one was a general LWW dress design. I like the design, but I'm having serious issues with colour. I like it in this rusty red, but not necessarily for Evren. I could be overthinking, though.

Opinions?

(For the record, if anyone were to care, the other design was Dawn Treader-based...sort of.)
